Catherine Ivey

Catherine Ivey is a corporate-commercial lawyer at KPMG, with over 20 years experience practicing exclusively in Ontario. Her knowledge includes all aspects of business law, including incorporations, mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, leasing, and secured lending. She serves a diverse clientele, including local businesses in Hamilton and southern Ontario. Catherine has served on boards like the Cancer Assistance Program and the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Hamilton Law Association. She holds a law degree from the University of Western Ontario and an undergraduate degree from McMaster University. Her work involves corporate and commercial law, including operations, financing, and drafting commercial agreements, such as shareholder agreements. Catherine is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and has worked with various businesses and corporations across sectors like transportation, logistics, manufacturing, retail, technology, and healthcare. 

She is a lifelong resident of the Hamilton community, and in her free time Catherine enjoys hiking in the Dundas Valley and doing other fun things with her husband, two children and mastiff, Lulu.
