Paul Porteous

Paul is a proud Hamiltonian having lived in Hamilton his entire life and now raising a family with his wife Stacy in the city he grew up. Having worked at both Hamilton Health Sciences and the Juravinski Cancer Center,  and now, with a few stops in between, at St. Josephs Healthcare Hamilton, Paul has seen the impacts of Cancer in his family, friends and community and feels its time to give back.

With over 28 years of experience in all facets of Hospital Service Operations and Planning, from Redevelopment, Facilities Management, Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Services, Patient and Retail Food, Clinical Nutrition, Patient Transport, Security, Shared Equipment Management , Logistics and Linen Management Services, Paul has seen how many ways a patient’s experience can be improved upon, over and above the direct clinical care a patient receives.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Nutrition as well as an MBA in Innovative Leadership and in his free time, he enjoys his youngest daughters Equestrian Hobby along with a golf game when time permits.
