The Cancer Assistance Program provides patients with a range of nutritional supplements, incontinence items, wigs and head coverings and mastectomy garments. • NUTRITONAL SUPPLEMENTS & INCONTINENCE ITEMS:

Our Personal Care Program provides a variety of nutritional supplements and incontinence items to support clients’ day-to-day needs. Items such as Ensure, Glucerna, briefs, incontinence pads and bed liners are available on a 4-week schedule. Supplies can be picked up at our office Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., or delivery can be arranged within the Greater Hamilton Area (deliveries take place on Fridays). To sign up for delivery, arrange a pickup, or ask any questions, please call 905-383-9797 ext. 105.

• WIGS & MASTECTOMY GARMENTS:

At CAP, we understand wigs, bras and prosthetics play a crucial role for cancer patients in reclaiming dignity and helping individuals feel at ease once again.

Our wig and bra room offers a private and comfortable space where clients receive personalized assistance from our trained volunteers. Here you can explore our collection of wigs, mastectomy bras and prosthetics. Clients can take their chosen wig or bra home the same day as their visit. During your bra fitting appointment, please ask our volunteer if you are eligible for our Bras for Buddies Program.

Bras for Buddies Program

Thanks to a generous donation from a local breast cancer survivor, CAP administers the Bras for Buddies Program in partnership with Sue Teschke from Mastectomy Lingerie & More. CAP’s donated mastectomy items are free for CAP clients and if we cannot suit your needs, we will provide you with a voucher that you can take to Mastectomy Lingerie & More where you will be fitted for a new mastectomy bra.
